Outreach Directors PDF Print E-mail

loganWe would like to welcome our newest staff members, Jereme and Jenny Logan.  The Logan's will be our new Driectors of Outreach.  They will be helping with our local and world outreach efforts.  This will involve organizing local events, volunteer help, and mission trips.  We look forward to seeing how God will use their talents and abilities for His glory.

Jereme and Jenny Logan have been married since 2004.  They have two children and a mischievous border collie named Sadie.  Jereme grew up in the Hayden area.   Jenny is from Murfreesboro, Tennessee.  They moved to the Gardendale area in 2007.  The Logans are grateful to serve God through facilitating the service of others.

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.”  Matthew 25:35-36

Cornerstone Ranch PDF Print E-mail
cornerstone

Cornerstone Ranch began as a dream--a dream to one day impact the world by investing in the lives of young people. Over ten years ago, three young men--Rusty Rouse, Josh Nation, and Jake Chemell--felt compelled by GOD to find a place where the young could have the opportunity to be in an environment in which they could come face to face with the Creator of the universe and experience a personal relationship with Him. They wanted to give these young people the opportunity to succeed in life by experiencing things many of us take for granted.

More recently, Jimmie Nation, Josh's father, became part of the vision. Because of his belief in the dream, he contributed in making the dream become a reality. Persistently, he labored to secure the Dupont property. Many people were skeptical about pursuing that particular piece of land, claiming the property could not be acquired. Twenty-five years after the plant shut down, many had tried to purchase the land for different developments. GOD, however, had a different plan for the use of the land. Because of the faith and determination of these four men, the dream became a reality just over a year ago. The group was blessed with 1200 acres, just ten minutes north of Birmingham, Alabama. This is now known as Conerstone Ranch.

Cornerstone Ranch is a non-profit Christian organization dedicated to developing self-esteem and character in the lives of youth in need through recreational activities and Faith-based programs. For more information on this ministry please visit their webiste at: www.mycornerstoneranch.org

Canaan Land Ministries PDF Print E-mail
mac-and-sandrawww.canaanland.com

In 1981, Canaan Land Ministries was founded by Mac Gober, a former motorcycle hoodlum. Since then, Mac has helped hundreds of men turn lost and broken lives into productive and fruitful lives.

Canaan Land is a non-profit, non-denominational, Christian home. Men 18 years and older can apply to become students in the one year program. Some men come to Canaan Land as an alternative to prison.

Judges, district attorneys and probation officers work closely with the staff to help some men re-establish their good name. Some men come to Canaan Land as drifters or from broken homes, and others are recommended by pastors or friends. Most of them are battling substance abuse, alcohol or some other form of harmful addiction.
