vaughnJerry and Teresa Vaughn were married in 1975 – 34 years ago.  They have lived and ministered extensively in Central and South America for 28 years and are the founders of Living Word International, an apostolic ministry dedicated to planting cell churches, forming disciples, and leadership development with the purpose of increasing godly influence and transformation in every area of society.

The most recent major change in their lives was the acceptance of the Senior Pastorate of New Day Church in Selma, California. In February of this year, they celebrated their first year anniversary at New Day.  Excitement continues to escalate concerning the spiritual, numerical, and leadership growth as New Day develops into a strong local church and an Apostolic Center to the nations.

Their extensive international contribution continues to expand through LWI team members in various nations; thus, the vision of “Leaders cultivating leaders to impact generations and society with the righteousness of God” is making a difference in people’s lives (2 Timothy 2:2).  Presently, their international involvement includes leadership training, church planting, and church and educational development in Venezuela, Colombia, Guatemala, Panama, Nicaragua, France, Germany, Argentina, Chili, Uruguay, the Philippines, and Vietnam.  During their 30 years of service, the Vaughn’s have been blessed to have witnessed thousands around the world come to the Lord, many of whom have continued in discipleship, training, healing, wholeness, and strong leadership.

Jerry is also a founding member and the International Director of ATI, Apostolic Teams International, a ministry team formed through 32 years of mutual relationship and ministry.  The purpose of ATI is leadership development, new church plants, and continual service and support to those churches in relationship with ATI.

For the past 23 years the Vaughn’s have been a part of the international outreach ministry of Trinity Church International of Lake Worth, Florida, pastored by their spiritual father, Tom Peters.  They have two children and 6 wonderful grandchildren (so far) who are all dedicated to the call and purpose of God upon their lives.

Jerry and Teresa, their children, and their teams around the world are diligently working to reach the harvest and instill a Biblical Worldview into the thousands of individual lives to whom they yearly minister. They are committed to equipping Christians to restore a Biblical foundation in their lives, families, communities, and nations with the transforming power of the Gospel.
